Nicolas Cage Sued for Not Making Car Payments
Nicolas Cage is reportedly being sued for not being able to make payments on two Rolls Royces.
The agreement made in 2007 was for a 1964 Rolls Royce SCIII which required him to pay $7,663.02 monthly for a car that is worth $550,000.
Four months after, the National Treasure actor purchased the other Rolls Royce, a 2002 Rolls Royce Corniche that required him to pay $3,630.71 for a car worth $245,000.
Since Cage failed to pay his taxes, he is now dealing with a $6 million debt owed to the IRS. As a result, the star failed to make his car payments and had to return the two vehicles.
The leasing company, Premier Financial Services, is now suing Cage for breach of contract and for loss of revenue resulting from having to sell the cars at wholesale. The company is seeking $104,490.68 for the '64 Rolls and $137,077.06 for the other.
