Nicolas Cage's Homes in New Orleans Auctioned Off
Nicolas Cage's two houses in New Orleans have been put on auction Thursday, reported TMZ.
The bank foreclosed on the properties because Cage did not pay the mortgage debts he owned on the two multi-million dollar houses, and will auction off the homes during late November.
The estimated worth of the properties are more than $3 million each. The first mansion, a 13,000 square-foot, six-bedroom home was priced at $3.45 million. While the second home, was priced at $3.5 million.
Cage had been having financial problems and has to being broke.
At the beginning of November Cage filled a $20 million lawsuit against his former business manager claiming recklessness with his money, including not paying taxes. Cage now owes more than $6 million in unpaid taxes, blaming Samuel Levin, his former manager, for the mismanagement. Although news-sources say Cage's spending behavior drove him into the financial difficulties he is now experiencing.
