Nicole and Joel - It's a Girl!

One of the most-watched pregnancies of 2007 resulted in frequent documentation of Joel Madden, 28, and Nicole Richie's, 26, road to parenthood. With all the baby hype in the news, the couple managed to stay comfortably mum on the sex of their baby. And now the mystery gender is revealed to be - a girl! According to a blog on his clothing line website, DCMAcollective.com, Madden reports that Richie gave birth to a healthy baby girl on January 11. And these individualistic parents (dad Joel is a rocker with band Good Charlotte and mom Nicole is a former Hollywood bad girl and reality television star) didn't settle for a conventional name - or even a conventional number of names! Baby girl Madden is officially called Harlow Winter Kate Madden. It's a fittingly unique name for the daughter of two such unique people. We can only hope that baby Harlow brings her parents joy and pride, but those two may find their hands full if their daughter is as full of vitality and energy as they are!
