Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: Engaged
We can finally expect to hear wedding bells for Nicole Richie, 28, and boyfriend Joel Madden, 30.
Richie recently broke the news of their engagement on an episode of The Late Show with David Letterman that is set to air Friday. When confronted with the question of marriage, Richie stated, “We actually recently got engaged.”
The wedding is set to be simple and classic. According to a source, “Nicole wants to keep the ceremony to close friends and family. It will be traditional with a simple white dress and very private.”
Richie and the Good Charlotte singer are proud parents to daughter Harlow, 2, and a son, Sparrow, 5 months.
Richie's experience with motherhood left her a changed woman. She stated, “Your whole life changes and your priorities change 100 percent . . . in the best way possible.”
Richie and Madden have been together since 2006.
