Nicole Richie Introduces Winter Kate" Collection

Just months after giving birth to her new baby, Sparrow, Nicole Richie announced her plans to give life to a new clothing line.

The line, "Winter Kate," which has been in the making for some time, will be released next spring.

The collection draws it's inspiration straight from Richie's closet. This contemporary women's collection will incorporate bohemian style. Fabrics will have splashes of bright colors and it will flow. Like Richie's clothing, the pieces will be functional and fashionable.

According to MTV Richie said "I probably wear the same two pairs of jeans every day as the background to a fabulous top." She also added, "bed jackets are a staple of my wardrobe because they are a gorgeous way to give jeans and a white T-shirt a completely different look."

Since her "House of Harlow" accessory collection did so well, retailers like Intermix and Saks have already jumped on board with "Winter Kate".
