Nicole Richie says there is no fashionista feud between her and Jessica Simpson

Nicole Richie and Jessica Simpson aren’t enemies.

The 29-year-old House of Harlow 1960 designer dismissed new rumors that she hasn’t been getting along with Jessica Simpson on the upcoming reality show Fashion Star.

A report by Us Weekly claimed that Richie and Simpson only talk “when they need to,” and Richie "thinks Jessica doesn't have much of a high-fashion eye" and "makes snarky comments about Jessica's outfits.”

On Thursday, though, Richie shot down those rumors.

"I'll tell you right now that that couldn't be further from the truth," Richie told Ryan Seacrest on On Air With Ryan Seacrest, according to People. "I actually love and adore Jessica."

"I've known her for years, first of all, so I already knew who she was as a person," she added. "Who she is, is someone who's very kind, very sweet and extremely smart and a great businesswoman and someone that I really respect ... I actually couldn't love someone or respect someone more."
