Nicollette Sheridan- Not So Desperate Housewife

Nicollette Sheridan who plays Edie Britt on the hit ABC show "Desperate Housewives" has called off her engagement to her fiance, Niklas Soderblom. According to Sheridan's publicist, "The couple have parted ways after a year and half and ask to respect their privacy at this time."

However, just days before the official announcement, Sheridan and Soderblom appeared together at a Red Cross Celebrity auction where she denied rumors that they had split.

In the meantime, in spite of a slump in the show's second season, "Desperate Housewives" ratings are still going strong.
