Nicollette Sheridan Won't Be a Housewife Anytime Soon
Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement, a rep for the actress told the media, according to the Star. "They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter."
The couple first got together in 1992 and dated for five years. In 2005, they reunited in love and announced their engagement. However, things seemingly came to a halt, since the couple made no real wedding plans. "We haven't decided where, and as soon as we make that decision it will happen very quickly," Nicollette told a British tabloid, according to TMZ.com.
According to the Star, while the reason for the split has not yet been reported, it's long been said that Michael's three daughters with ex-wife Maureen McGuire weren't fans of Nicollette, making holidays and family getaways a nightmare for the couple. Last year, his daughters refused to stay in the same house as Nicollette during a family vacation in St. Barts, the Daily News reported at the time.
"There's no way they're going to get married," an inside source told the Daily News at the time. Looks like they were right. . . .
