Nikki Reed Talks About the Woes of Filming 'Eclipse'

Reed says shooting the fight scenes made her want to die.

Filming a movie is way harder than it looks. Add wire stunts, rain, and vampire makeup and it’s hell on earth.

Just ask Nikki Reed, who tells People magazine she felt like dying while shooting the fight scenes for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

“The hardest part is trying to fly around on cables in the woods at 6 o'clock, fighting the sunset and stuff. And looking like we're not cold and super powerful, when we just want to die,” Reed says.

Standing in the rain in 30-degree weather without having the pale vampire makeup wash off was no easy task either. Reed, 21, plays vampire Rosalie Cullen in the fantasy franchise.

The shoot, according to Reed, was draining both emotionally and physically.

“We were doing a lot of stunts, too much in too little time,” Reed confesses to People.

But it wasn’t all bad. Reed says she filmed some “really amazing scenes” with co-star Kristen Stewart.

“She's my buddy. We love each other. We had fun shooting together,” Reed says. The two became close friends since shooting the Twilight films.

Hopefully all the hard work will pay off when Eclipse hits theaters June 30.
