Nintendo 3DS Launching in America and Europe in March

Nintendo of America Corporate President Reggie Fils-Aime announced on January 19, 2011 that their new model, Nintendo 3DS, will go on sale for $249 on March 27, 2011. It will also be available in Europe on March 25, 2011, according to Nintendo of Europe Corporate President Satoru Shibata on January 19, 2011. It was announced that the Nintendo 3DS will be listed at €249 and £229 by major retailers in Europe.

Nintendo of America Corporate President Reggie Fils-Aime claimed that over 30 games would be released between the March launch and the industry expo in early June, the Electronics Entertainment Expo, to support the system's launch lineup. The games include Pro Evolution Soccer, Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 3D: Mercenaries, Ridge Racer 3D, Nintendogs + Cats, etc.

On the other hand, the Europe version of Nintendo 3DS will have a launch lineup of 25 games, including The Sims 3, Nintendogs + Cats, Pilotwings Resort, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, Super Street Fighter IV, etc.
