No More Fur for Christina Ricci

Christina Ricci had to say goodbye to her fur wearing ways, in order to please her fans.

Christina Ricci apologized for wearing fur on the cover of W magazine, after finding herself on PETA's top 5 worst dressed for 2006, last month.

Apparently, after fans saw her sporting reindeer fur on the cover of W, they sent Ricci angry letters and a fan site for the actress actually closed down in a protest.

Ricci apparently made a statement recently about vowing to never wear fur again. "After being named on the PETA worst dressed list for wearing fur on the cover of W magazine, I have been deluged with angry and disappointed fans."

She also stated, "I never meant to hurt nor anger anyone with my insensitivity. For what it is worth, I have received the message loud and clear and will not be wearing fur in the future. I apologize for my offensive actions."

Apparently, once PETA heard the news of Ricci no longer being a fan of fur, they sent her a complimentary basket full of "cruelty free goodies."
