Norah Jones, the multi-talented artist, will take this year off to rest.

Norah Jones will take 2008 off following a hectic 2007, where she worked herself to near exhaustion, according to IMDB.com

The Grammy-winning artist released a new album, Not Too Late, in January 2007 and spent the majority of the year doing appearances in order to support her work.

Jones, even with her hectic schedule, found time to make her acting debut in the film My Blueberry Night, and she admits that her frenzied work schedule has led to her need for a break.

Jones says "I'm taking some time off. I worked a lot last year, just between the movie and my new record and the tour."
