Not 'The E.N.D.' for Black Eyed Peas

The group's new album took the number one spot on Billboard's 200 chart.

Black Eyed Peas have earned the top spot for their new album "The E.N.D." on Billboard's 200 chart.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the group's album sold 304,000 copies during its first week. It is their first album to hit number one on the chart.

Their previous album, "Monkey Business," was barred from the top slot by Coldplay's "X&Y" and settled in the number two spot.

Their new hit track "Boom Boom Pow" brought the album to number one, MTV reports.

"The E.N.D." also dropped Dave Matthews Band's "Big Whiskey & the Groogrux King" to number two, after being number one last week. At number three, Eminem's "Relapse" went platinum in its first month.

Rolling Stone reports that capturing the fourth and fifth spots are Chickenfoot's self-titled album and Aventura's debut album "Last."

Coming up, the Jonas Brothers will release their album "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" next week and could score big.
