Now you can get a branded PETA Coffin

People take saving animals seriously. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has partnered with a New Mexico company to build wood coffins that bear PETA slogans. What says I love animals more than painting it on your coffin?

The coffins are made entirely of wood, including the screws, and range from $620-$670. The cost of the box includes a donation to PETA. They are made by Denna Genther, who has been making wood coffins for four years. Her company also makes pet coffins, and Genther was surprised when PETA contacted her about the human boxes.

Custom coffins are nothing new, with people being buried with sports team logos and religious symbols for years. No word yet on whether people find that having a branded PETA coffin will amke any difference, or if they will notice once they are dead.
