Nude Model Arrested in Metropolitan Museum of Art
A model was arrested for posing fully nude at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Wednesday.
According to FOX News, Kathleen Neill, 26, was posing for a project that photographer Zach Hyman is currently working on. The project involves taking pictures of nude models in public places. Although this was the first time any of his models got in trouble for it, Hyman said he has his lawyer on speed dial and keeps bail money with him whenever he performs a photo shoot.
New York's PIX 11 / WPIX-TV reports that Neill was caught posing nude in the museum's arms and armor department under the public eye. Her attorney said the charge "is ridiculous" since the museum contains nude art. Hyman also said some of the displays at the museum have inspired his work.
Neill is charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a minor, The Los Angeles Times reports. She is scheduled to be in court on Sept. 22.
