Obama Beats Clinton For A Grammy
Barak Obama has beaten a Clinton. He beat Bill Clinton out for a Grammy, that is. He won for best-spoken word album for the audio edition of his book, The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream, according to People Magazine.
Obama was up against two former president's books Bill Clinton's Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World, Jimmy Carter's Sunday Mornings in Plains: Bringing Peace to a Changing World. Maya Angelou's and Alan Alda were also up for the award.
Obama had won the award in 2006 for his audio version of Dreams from My Father, his 1995 memoir. Bill Clinton has also won the award twice in the past as well as Hillary Clinton winning in 1996 for It Takes A Village.
It seems that Obama has taken this one but the presidential hopeful still has a few more battles to fight against Hilary Clinton for the presidency.
