Obama-Clinton Up To The Minute Results
Barack Obama, over three and a half hours ago, was announced as the winner in Vermont, a state where a total of 15 delegates were at stake.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton broke Obama's 12-primary winning streak by taking Rhode Island and the majority of its 21 delegates.
At this point, Clinton leads Obama 59%-40% with 73% of the votes counted in N.H. This is a margin of victory that MSNBC reports is lower than what the Clinton campaign was banking on.
Ohio, and its 141 delegates, has 41% of its votes counted, and Clinton is leading Obama 57%-41%.
Texas, and its 126 delegates, has 18% of its votes reportedly counted, and Obama is tied Clinton 49%-49%.
Note: The reason why Texas has less delegates than Ohio is because the delegates are weighted towards the districts with higher Democratic votes in the 2004 election.
