Obama doesn't approve of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'

Like any father, President Obama is trying to raise his daughters the right way. Keeping up with the Kardashians is not helping him with this task. In fact, Obama believes that the reality show is not appropriate for his young girls to watch.

Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10 are at the age where their minds are molding and they are trying to figure out who they are going to be in life. Barack and First Lady Michelle believe this isn’t the best time to be introduced to such inappropriate topics that are discussed on Kardashians.

Michelle Obama told iVillage what her husband specifically thought about the television show.

“Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians – when they watch that stuff – he doesn’t like that as much.”

She goes on to state that she is more concerned with what her daughters will get out of the show.

“If they’re learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I’m like, okay.”

Interestingly enough, the Kardashians seem to actually be thrilled about this latest conversation. They are happy to be talked about in the White House. On the other hand, according to Philly.com, Kourtney, who had previously met Obama, was upset by what he was saying about the show, especially after he had told her that he enjoyed watching Keeping up with the Kardashians.
