O'Brien Tweets Through His Contract

Former "Tonight Show" Host has Become Twitter's Biggest Star

To every contract there is loophole as in the case with Conan O’Brien .

The former “Tonight Show” host is not letting his current state of forced unemployment get him down.

Since NBC announced O’Brien will no longer be the host of Tonight, he has remained in the limelight through Twitter. With nearly 600,000 Followers, no celebrity Twitter account has caused so much media frenzy as his. http://inventorspot.com/articles/conan_obrien_team_coco_tweeting_dollars...

One of the clauses in his dismissal contract was a stipend that prevented O’Brien from appearing on television for a certain time period. Instead of rolling over and disappearing into obscurity, O’Brien used his Twitter power to promote his upcoming tour.

The “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour” will be a 30 city tour kicking off in Eugene, OR on April 12.

The official tour site, TeamCoco.com was overloaded half an hour after O’Brien made the first announcement via Twitter.
