Octomom Still Collecting Federal Aid

Nadya Suleman claims she is still receiving federal aid for her 14 children.

According to the Los Angeles Times, "Octomom," Nadya Suleman, is still accepting aid from the state of California, and may need even more to support her 14 children.

Suleman said, "If I need to apply for (the Women, Infants and Children program) to provide my babies with formula, then I'm going to."

Suleman crunched the numbers and came up with a figure of $2,000 per month for formula. Suleman said, "That's a lot of money for formula."

Suleman stated that her priority was to feed her children and not be concerned with flak she gets over her collection of federal and state assistance.

Suleman claims she is no longer on food stamps; however, her children are still on Medi-Cal. One octuplet, Jonah, remains hospitalized. The rest are living in the La Habra home her father purchased.
