Octuplets' Grandma Facing Foreclosure, But Going on Vacation?
All over the media today is the news that the Angela Suleman is facing foreclosure for being over $23,000 behind in mortgage payments. This could spell eviction for the Suleman babies, as they live in grandma's house with their mother, Nadya Suleman. So what does grandma have to say?
In an exclusive interview on CBS' "Early Show," Angela Suleman, the grandmother of the octuplets, reveals some questionable information. When asked by co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez about what she would like to do, she said, ""I would like to somehow get enough money to get a house for these babies, but you know, she starts working, she won't be able to take care of them because then it's up to me and I would like start living a little too."
Rodriguez then asked Suleman if she felt like a victim, to which she replied, "No. I'm not a victim because I can just get up and go. And I think I'm gonna do this very soon. I'm gonna go visit my sister in Europe and my friends and just live it up a little."
However, if Angela Suleman is over $23,000 in debt and facing foreclosure which could mean her house would be up for auction by May 5th, one has to begin to wonder how she is going to get the money to buy her grandchildren a house to live in AND visit Europe and "live it up."
The media has already been speculating how Nadya Suleman, the mother of the octuplets and six kids from a previous in vitro, has been able to afford both plastic surgery and in vitro fertilization off of food stamps and disability for 3 of her older children. Apparently more is going on behind closed doors at the Suleman household than was previously thought.
