Octuplets' Mom Gets TV And Book Deal Offers

Octuplets' mom wants to share her story about parenting 14 kids.

The new mother of octuplets, Nadya Suleman, is in the midst of receiving countless offers for book deals, television shows, and other proposals.

Thus far however, Suleman is focused on raising her children. The eight babies are the longest living set of octuplets in the U.S., according to the Associated Press. Suleman gave birth to six boys and two girls just a week ago.

According to her newly hired representative, Joann Killeen of the Killeen Furtney Group, Suleman is "the most sought after mom in the world right now. Everyone wants to talk to her."

Suleman is still hospitalized with her children at Kaiser Permanente's medical center in Bellflower, CA.

Killeen and her partner, Mike Furtney, did mention that some of the requests also involve offers to pay. They didn't reveal any amounts, but added that raising eight children will be a huge expense.

"Right now her top priority is to be the best mom she can be to all her children," Killeen said. "She's hired us to manage all of those opportunities."

The public relations rep also mentioned that Suleman hasn't accepted any offers to host a television show on parenting, as rumors had suggested. She did add that Suleman is interested in sharing her story with the world.

Suleman, 33 and a single mother, already has six children, ranging in age from 2 to 7, before giving birth to her new octuplets on January 26.

The babies are doing well, according to hospital officials. Doctors are expecting them to stay in the hospital for about two months in order to closely monitor their health.

All of Suleman's 14 children were conceived through in vitro fertilization, according to her mother, Angela Suleman. She is currently taking care of the other six children.
