The Office Recap 5/4

Michael does conflict resolution win-win-win style.

Pam sent out her wedding invitations and did not send one to Angela because she doesn't want "anyone there that has called me a hussy." She ends up giving her one later using the "I didn't have your zip code" excuse.

Oscar doesn't like Angela's poster with the babies playing instruments and wants her to take it down. Toby handles all the conflicts in the office, but Michael steps in. He has a meeting with the two and brings a mediator's tool chest. There are five different styles of conflict and Michael wants to use the win-win-win style. Oscar has to make a shirt of the poster. Then he can't see it but Angela can and Michael wins for successfully mediating. Michael takes all the employee conflicts files from Toby so that he can solve all the problems.

Meredith complains that the lights are too bright and people talk too loud in the morning. Creed is sick of "looking at the redhead all day," when he'd rather look at the receptionist. Angela has complained about everyone except Dwight, which Michael finds odd. Pam covers for Dwangela (Dwight/Angela), but then hears a complaint about her and how she shouldn't plan her wedding during office time. She thinks its Angela who had the complaint, but really it's Jim. Kelly complains that Ryan never returns her calls. Phyliss complains that Angela gives her dirty looks. Stanley complains that Phyliss cries too much. Angela complains that Kevin makes sexually suggestive remarks to her. Michael tells her to do it back, which pleases Kevin. Dwight has boxes full of complaints about Jim. He goes nuts and tells Michael to choose between him and Jim and to fire the other one. Jim tells Pam that it was him who complained about her before she goes off on Angela.

Everyone is mad at each other by the end of the day and nothing is truly resolved.
