The Office Star Joins "Transformers" Sequel
Dwight Schrute will share the screen with Optimus Prime and the rest of the Transformers in the sequel to one of the biggest movies of 2007.
Rainn Wilson of The Office fame, announced to MTV News, Tuesday, during a sneak preview of his new film The Rocker, that he will have a small role in Michael Bay's Transformers 2.
Wilson joked about his role, saying, "A professor that turns into a car that turns into a robot," which is more than likely false because the actor has yet to read the entire script.
But the Transformers sequel will see the movie's main character - Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) - go to college. According to some of the initial reports about the movie - most notably that Jonah Hill turned down the role to be Sam's college roommate - it appears that Bay is looking to make his film even funnier than the first.
Transformers 2 will shoot its college scenes in Bethlehem, PA, home of Lehigh University.
