For "The Office" Warehouse Foreman, the Charges Will Be Dropped
Craig Robinson hasn't left his job at The Office, but he did come very close to it. On June 29, the warehouse foreman, Darryl Philbin, was caught in the possession of controlled substances, specifically ecstasy and methamphetamine. He was immediately charged with two felony counts of drug possession and one count of being under the influence of the drugs. Ever though the Office actor pleaded guilty to the charges at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, he is allowed to go through a series of drug education classes in place of going to jail. The condition of this ruling is that the courses must be completed over the next 36 months. Fortunately, after they are completed, the charges will be dropped. Blair Berk, Robinson's lawyer, confirmed that Robinson is just happy that he was being given the chance to redeem himself by the court. He must, though, return to court on September 25 for a progress report.
