Old Spice Beau breezes into Hollywood film role
The new face of Old Spice aftershave, 36-year-old ex-college and professional football player Isaiah Mustafa, is set to star along side Jennifer Aniston in the 2011 comedy Horrible Bosses.
Mustafa will join an all-star cast including Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell, Jamie Foxx, and Jason Batemen. The Old Spice actor has referred to the role as 'a dream come true.'
However, the manner in which he landed the part was not all smooth sailing, the ex-football player said:
"I missed the first audition but made the second one they scheduled because they hadn't found anyone."
The 36-year-old became an overnight success and a YouTube sensation after appearing in the 'tongue in cheek' Old Spice advertisments. He confesses that his role in the movie as a cop is a small yet 'authoritative' one.
The film, due to be released in July 2011, follows three friends that plot to murder their bosses with disasterous consequences. Horrible Bosses will be Mustafa's film debut.
