It wasn't too long ago that Olivia Wilde called out people who are more infatuated with Kim Kardashian than serious topics like famine and disease, but now it seems the actress is coming to Kardashian's defense.

Us Weekly reported the 27-year-old, who experienced her own divorce in October, wants people to stop bashing the reality star.

"[Divorce] is the hardest thing in the world," she said.

"People judge you because divorce is seen as failure. [Kim] took a risk. No one should be attacking her.

She also reiterated what she told Marie Claire over the summer, saying, "Our attention should be focused on things that are truly scandalous."

According to the Huffington Post, Wilde eloped with Italian prince Tao Ruspoli when she was only 19. Eight years later, she and Ruspoli separated in February and finalized their divorce eight months later.

"I empathize. It's not easy," she said.

But one celebrity who doesn't "empathize" is singer Michael Buble. At an iHeartRadio Live concert performance, the Canadian crooner jokingly called up Kim Kardashian to the stage, then said, "Nah, just f**king with you! That bitch isn't coming on my stage."

Kardashian's reality show, Kim and Kourtney Take New York, premieres November 27 on E!.
