Olsen Twins Add More to Their Millions

America's favorite twins sign a new distribution deal with Warner Home Video.

In addition to starting their freshman year at NYU, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen recently signed a 10-year distribution deal with Warner Home Video. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the deal includes an eight-figure advance for the wealthy twosome.

CEO of their Dualstar corporation, Robert Thorne helped negotiate the deal. The corporation, in which the Olsens are co-presidents of, has earned an estimated $1 billion dollars since 1993. Three-quarters of those earnings are generated from international sales.

"I believe that this upfront payment demonstrates the international growth potential that the Mary-Kate and Ashley brand has, not only domestically but overseas," says Thorne.

The twins' international popularity also landed them a McDonald's endorsement deal in France to help sell Happy Meals at the 1,035 outlets of the fast-food chain.

Their recent film, "New York Minute" garnered disappointing box office sales, but the twins remain at a value of $150 million each.
