One Year After Heath Ledger's Death
The anniversary of Heath Ledger's death comes just after he received the Golden Globe award for the best supporting role, acting the Joker in The Dark Night.
In the year since his death, Heath received several awards for the same role, like 70 other nominations in Oscar history that have been given after the artists died.
Ledger died, at the age of 28, from an accidental prescription drug overdose that was a mixture of sleeping pills and anxiety medication.
He was found naked and unconscious in bed by the housekeeper in his fellow actor Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment in Soho, New York.
Heath has serious possibilities of winning again the best supporting actor Oscar at the Academy Awards on February 22.
The star had reportedly been troubled and suffering from insomnia after the intense experience of playing the Joker in The Dark Knight, The Age.com reports.
Ledger saw just six minutes of his much acclaimed film before his death, Entertainment Weekly reports.
