Oprah Winfrey heads to the small screen with her newest show, Oprah’s Next Chapter.

The show premieres January 1st on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), says the New York Times. It will feature on-location interviews with celebrities such as Joel Osteen, Paula Deen, Deepak Chopra, Sean Penn, Tony Robbins, and George Lucas. A sneak peek at what to expect: a slumber party in Georgia with Paula Deen and a visit to George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in California.

Winfrey released a statement about the show (via E! News,), "After 25 years, I got myself out of the studio chairs. I moved into the next chapter, and I am having more fun than ever—moving around the country and the world talking to people I'm really interested in getting to know and I think viewers will be, too. It is so energizing to be out and about in the world exploring new people, new places and new ideas."

The first episode is a two-hour interview with Steven Tyler in New Hampshire. They talk about his past drug addiction, love, and American Idol.

Oprah’s Next Chapter will air weekly on Sunday nights.
