Actor Orlando Bloom and Victoria's Secret Angel Miranda Kerr exchanged their vows during an intimate, secret ceremony, just one month after confirming their engagement.
Kerr, 27, canceled an appearance at David Jones, an Australian department store, scheduled for August 3, to celebrate her new role as a wife.
“I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life,” Kerr reportedly said in a statement.
The newlyweds have been dating for three years after meeting backstage at a Victoria’s Secret fashion show in 2006. After sharing the secret ceremony with only family and close friends, they are enjoying their honeymoon. It is unknown where or when they were married.
“Given the exciting news that Miranda and Orlando have recently wed and will be enjoying their honeymoon together, Miranda will not be with us [for the launch],” a spokeswoman for David Jones said in a statement.
Kerr, who was born in Sydney, Australia, was named ninth on Forbes' World’s Top-Earning Models in 2009, making $3 million.
Bloom, 33, who was born in England, is most known for his role at Will Turner in The Pirates of the Caribbean.
