Orlando Bloom's Home Broken Into

Orlando Bloom's Hollywood Hills home was burglarized.

One or more thieves allegedly stole more than $500,000 in jewelry, cash and artwork, Los Angeles police said today.

The British actor's relative discovered on Wednesday night that a break in had occurred.

Bloom was not present when the incident occurred.

Los Angeles police officers have noticed a trend in celebrity homes being broken into in the past six months. In May, Lindsay Lohan's home was broken into and the police were able to get two images of the burglars. In December 2008, Paris Hilton's home was broken into and about $2 million worth of jewelry was taken.
