Orlando Bloom's Home Burglarized

A relative discovered that Bloom's L.A. home had been broken into.

Los Angeles police say they are investigating a break-in at actor Orlando Bloom's home, the Associated Press reports.

Police spokeswoman Amanda Betat says officers were called to the home by one of Bloom's relatives early Wednesday evening. The relative discovered the break in at 5:50 p.m.

Some cash and jewelry was reported stolen but police did not release an amount.

According to Access Hollywood, part of the 32-year-old "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's prized wristwatch collection, believed to include over 40 valuable watches, was burglarized. The entire collection is reportedly worth over $328,000.

TMZ.com reported that the thieves entered the house through a window and went away with roughly $500,000 worth of stolen goods, including two expensive watches from Bloom's collection.

Police say they do not currently have a suspect and the case is ongoing.

Bloom was filming a movie in New York at the time of the burglary.
