P. Diddy Accused of Battery

According to MTV.com, a Los Angeles real estate agent accused rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs of punching him, Sunday morning, at a Hollywood hotel.

Although a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department would not confrim that the alleged perpetrator was Diddy, she validated the claim that an incident report was taken on a 2:30 a.m. fight at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, in which an unidentified person was accused of battery. The Associated Press states that police later named Diddy as the alleged aggressor in the incident.

The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is located across the street from the Kodak Theatre, where the Oscars took place on Sunday night. Diddy was reportedly in town for Oscar-related events. TMZ.com reported that the complaint against Diddy was filed by real estate agent, Gerard Rechnitzer, but the LAPD spokesperson also refused to confirm this information. However, the website posted a copy of the report, which does not name Diddy, but says that the rapper/producer was talking to Rechnitzer's girlfriend and punched Rechnitzer on the right side of his face when he approached Diddy.
