Page Set To Be On Second Volume Of Juno Sountrack

The movie soundtrack's second volume follows the hugely successful movie and original soundtrack.

Juno star Ellen Page will sing on a track appearing on the upcoming second volume of the popular movie's soundtrack, Juno B-Sides: Almost Adopted Songs, according to The Los Angeles Times.

The Oscar-nominated actress sings "Zub Zub," which was written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody, for a scene that was cut at the last minute in order to save time. During this song Juno, Page's character, sings about her predicament in carrying a baby that will be born out of wedlock.

Lines like "he filled me with baby batter, then we ate some orange tic tacs after," make up the song. Director Jason Reitman reminisces about shooting the scene: "I just remember directing with my daughter strapped to my chest in a BabyBjorn and the whole crew watching on as Ellen noodled around on guitar," he told wire service Reuters.

The 15-track album will be released exclusively through iTunes on April 8th before a music retailer release on May 13. There are no plans for a physical release.
