Palin and David Letterman Feud

Sarah Palin overreacts to a joke.

Sarah Palin's upset with David Letterman after he made a sexual joke about her daughter, Willow. As most of us know by now, the joke was meant for Bristol, but at this point it doesn't matter.

After Palin and her daughter, Willow, were at a Yankee's game, Letterman joked that the girl got knocked up by Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez.

The comedian made a statement later that he was not referring to Palin's 14-year-old daughter, Willow, but instead the joke was meant for 18-year-old Bristol. Either way, the joke may have been in bad taste, but as a comedian, a few slip-ups are in the cards once in a while, right?

Palin has taken the joke to the extreme. In a statement released from her rep, she said the family would not go on Letterman's show to boost his ratings and that it would be wise to keep Willow away from Letterman. Matt Lauer called out the governor on the "Today" show and said, "Isn't that in bad taste governor?" Lauer went on to ask Palin if she is suggesting the 62-year-old could not be trusted with a 14-year-old. Palin responded and said, "Take it how you want to take it."

Tothecenter.com reported that liberals and even some conservatives have commented that Letterman would never make a comment like that about Obama's daughters. Well, with all due respect, Obama's daughters haven't had a baby and posed for People magazine in their high school cap and gown, carrying their infant child.
