Palin Denies Barring Levi from Seeing Baby
According to the Associated Press, Bristol Palin, daughter of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, is responding to a report that she is barring the baby's father, Levi Johnston, 19, from seeing the infant.
Palin, 18, denied the claim through spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton. Stapleton said that Johnston could see the baby whenever he wants, as well as his family.
This week, a Star Magazine report claimed that Johnston's sister, Mercede, said Johnston attempts to visit his son daily, but Palin makes it, "nearly impossible."
The couple's son, Tripp, was born in December. The duo recently broke off their engagement.
The pregnancy made headlines, as it was announced just after Palin's mother, Sarah, was named as the vice presidential nominee to Sen. John McCain during his unsuccessful bid for the presidency in 2008.
Calls made by the Associated Press to Johnston were not immediately returned.
