Palin on SNL . . . The Real Palin

Alaskan governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin may make a surprise appearance on tonight's episode of Saturday Night Live alongside her humorous twin, Tina Fey.

According to OK! Magazine, the Republican nominee was considering making a cameo on the comedy program tonight with host, Anne Hathaway. The Secret Service has already done a sweep of 30 Rock in the event that she goes through with it. Perhaps she is looking for a little bit of levity before her serious debate with Joe Biden next week.

Palin admitted that she viewed Fey's portrayal of her two weeks ago, but with the sound completely off. Nevertheless, she said the take was "hilarious" (you'd think she might of enjoyed it more if she heard it) and she's even claimed to have dressed like Fey for a Halloween party.

This has been a big week for Fey as well, as she's brought home a whopping three Emmys for the hilarious comedy, 30 Rock. With Fey at the helm, this is a sure fire laugh riot with, most likely, at least one reference to that now infamous "lipstick."
