Palin Speaks After Levi Leaks
Levi Johnston delivered his promised dirt on Sarah Palin during an interview that aired on CBS Wednesday, and Palin is not impressed.
The most shocking tidbit he offered to host Maggie Rodriguez was that the ex-Alaskan governor used a derogatory term to refer to her son, reports the Huffington Post. Johnston claimed that Palin called Trig, who has Down syndrome, "retarded."
"I was in shock the first time I heard it," Johnston told Rodriguez.
Johnston also called into questions Palin's care of her child, claiming that her daughter Bristol took care of the baby more often than her mother.
"Sarah was never home," Johnston said.
However, Johnston was not willing to spill all his secrets.
"I'm not gonna go that far," he said. "You know, I mean, if I really wanted to hurt her, I could very easily. But there'sI'm not gonna do it."
What he has said is already quite enough for Palin. After the interview she issued a statement discrediting both Johnston, referring to his plans to appear in "Playgirl," and CBS.
"CBS should be ashamed for continually providing a forum to propagate lies," Palin said. "Consider the source of the most recent attention-getting liesthose who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more attention."
The second part of the interview will air on CBS Thursday morning.
