The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion
Avant-garde, alternative rock masterminds Dredg have been hard at work as of late preparing a new album that is set to hit stores on May 19. Dredg is a band that infuses the sounds of alt rock, jazz, and an eclectic mix of other things to create and ethereal sort of atmosphere in each of their songs. Dredg brings to mind bands such as Pink Floyd, who push the boundries of what is musically assessable to most, while still remaining true to their pseudo art type of feel. Following the departure from their major label partner, Interscope, Dredg has worked diligently on their follow-up to the critically acclaimed yet repugnantly mediocre selling Catch Without Arms. Although Dredg have not quite found mainstream success thus far, they have developed a loyal and dedicated fan base that is now salivating at the idea of the long anticipated album. The album will be called The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion and will be distributed by the independent label, Ohlone Recordings.
