Paris Gets Probation for Drunk Driving Arrest
Famous heiress and party girl Paris Hilton will not be heading to jail for her drunk driving arrest last September. Instead, the 25-year-old Simple Life star was sentenced Monday to three years probation. She will also have to pay fines adding up to $1,500-not even pocket change for the millionaire gossip queen.
Hilton, who was not present in court, had entered a plea of no contest through her attorneys. Her probation sentence may be reduced if she completes 40 hours of community service.
Hilton told KIS-FM after the incident, "I had one margarita and I was starving because I had not eaten all day...I wanted to have an In-N-Out burger."
That one margarita and burger-lust means Hilton better be on her best behavior for the next few years. She can't be caught with any amount of alcohol in her system, even the legal limit or below. She also must attend an alcohol-education program as ordered by Judge Michael Sauer.
Poor Paris Hilton just wanted a burger. But wait-doesn't she have people that take care of that stuff for her? Someone ought to be fired.
