Paris Hilton Caught with Marijuana

On Friday, heiress Paris Hilton was detained in Corsica for half an hour after drug dogs responded to something in her bags. Hilton was found with half a gram of marijuana.

Hilton was traveling in a private jet after a vacation in the Mediterranean with “personalities close to power in Malaysia.” After leaving for Sardinia from the French capital, Hilton was stopped at an airport in Figari where she was briefly questioned.

In response to these rumors as reported by a French newspaper, Hilton tweeted, “Just to put an end to these rumors. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false. I’m having the best vacation of my life!”

Recently, Hilton was arrested in South Africa at the World Cup for suspicion of marijuana. She was detained after the Brazil-Netherlands game, but soon released after a midnight hearing.

In 2007, the reality star was sentenced to 45 days in jail after reckless, alcohol-impaired driving. Directly following her brief stint behind bars, Hilton told host Larry King that she wanted to re-evaluate her party lifestyle and instead, “help raise money for kids and for breast cancer and for multiple sclerosis.”
