Paris Hilton Falls Victim to Robbery
Socialite Paris Hilton was the victim of a break-in early morning Friday, reported Reuters. The man was caught on Hilton's security cameras wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves. According to police, he forced open the front door and took around $2 million in jewelry and other belongings.
The burglary happened around 5 a.m. at Hilton's Hollywood Hills home on Clarendon Street.Hilton was not present during the robbery, but Richard French, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, claimed the robber "ransacked" the heiress's bedroom. The LAPD said they do not believe that this incident is connected to the other robberies that have taken place in the area. Most of these crimes were committed by two or three men wearing all black, and usually on the weekends. William Friedkin, Cuttino Mobley, John Taylor, Gela Nash-Taylor, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have all fallen victim to these crimes.
