Paris Hilton: "I'm Not Stupid"
Paris Hilton is on the defense, claiming that she is not as "stupid" as she appears. In a new MTV documentary premiering Tuesday, Hilton insists that the girl you see in front of the camera is simply a character she has created - not the real Paris.
"In a way it's good, but I also don't want people thinking of me as this blond heiress
airhead. But that is kind of my brand. I make a lot of money by doing that," Hilton said in the documentary, "Paris, Not France."
However, Hilton acknowledges that no matter what she accomplishes in her lifetime, her image will always be tarnished by an intimate moment, made public for the world to see - her infamous sex tape.
"I always looked up to Princess Diana and all these women, and now I could never be like that. I want to have a family. I want to be normal. I want to be happy," Hilton said.
Instead, Hilton worries about people "thinking I'm a slut and thinking I'm something that I'm not."
Hilton's documentary, "Paris, Not France," airs Tuesday on MTV.
