Believe it or not, perpetual party girl Paris Hilton is looking to be alone for now.
The heiress cum television personality was a guest on "The Late Show With David Letterman," and explained that she's happy being "single for the first time in [her] life." "It's cool not having to answer to myself," she told Letterman, noting that she now spends her time with her sister and friends.
Also contrary to popular belief, Hilton, 25, swears that she and ex-fiance Paris Lasts are not in a battle to the death. "We're better as friends... I just wasn't ready to get married."
