Paris Hilton on Vacation in Maui After Cocaine Arrest

The couple, who have attracted bad publicity since they started dating, seemed happier than ever whilst browsing for artwork and jewelry. After getting arrested for felony possession of cocaine in Las Vegas Aug. 27, Paris Hilton is on vacation in Maui, Hawaii, with her boyfriend, Cy Waits, 34, until Thursday.

“Had a beautiful romantic dinner on the beach. Now in bed about to watch Precious,” the 29-year-old Hilton posted on her Twitter page Sunday. “I love this movie, so moving and emotional.”

After scuba diving, the famous socialite tweeted, “I felt like Ariel the little mermaid under the sea today ... So much fun!”

Hilton and Waits, who are staying in a private mansion, also spent time at island art galleries and went horseback riding, surfing and zip-lining during their Maui vacation.

Hilton, whose arraignment will be held October 27, could spend a maximum of four years behind bars if she is convicted.

According to a source who spoke to E! Online, "She's [Hilton] distancing herself from her old party friends and focusing on her career and her love life."
