Paris Hilton vs. John McCain

Paris Hilton has bashed presidential candidate John McCain for using her photo in one of his advertising campaigns, without her permission, WENN reports.

McCain reportedly used the socialite's image in an ad criticizing Barack Obama. The commercial criticizes that Obama has become a celebrity, using people like Hilton and Britney Spears to make this point. The commercial - aired for the first time on Wednesday - then begs the question: "He's the biggest celebrity in the world, but is he ready to lead?"

However Hilton - whose parents contributed $4,600 to support McCain's campaign - has insisted that her image was used without consent. "Miss Hilton was not asked, nor did she give permission for the use of her likeness in the ad," a spokesperson for the socialite states.

Paris Hilton herself has not commented on the matter further.
