The 29-year-old socialite says she won't play a character on her new reality show

Heiress and reality TV star Paris Hilton is returning to the small screen with her new show, The World According to Paris. The 29-year-old promised to reveal “the real me” in the new show, which also stars her mom, Kathy Hilton, and Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife, ET reported.

“It’s a show like I’ve never done before,” she said. “I’m really letting cameras into my real life, and it’s just a really all-access pass into what goes on.”

The socialite explained that the person she was in The Simple Life was just a character she had to play. “So I think people assume that’s really who I am,” she said.

“But when they see this new show they’re going to see the real me.”

Hilton told The Hollywood Reporter that viewers will see everything that goes on in her daily life — from 7am until she goes to bed. There will be laughter, tears, screams, and fights. Hilton said that she “can’t believe” some of the conversations and arguments “the world is going to see.”

The World According to Paris began shooting in October/November and is set to air this spring on the Oxygen Network.
