Paris May Not Be Home Free Yet

Judge who doled out sentence calls heiress to court for decision on jailtime today.

Well, at least a few members of the justice system haven't been wooed by Paris Hilton's fame. The judge who slapped the heiress with a jail sentence in the first place has ordered her back into his courtroom. There, it will be decided whether Hilton will be returning to the big house. She's got a court date for 9 a.m. Friday morning.

Hilton, due to undisclosed "medical reasons," was allowed to traipse home after just over 3 days in jail, though her sentence was for 23 (already reduced from 45). Her punishment devolved into house arrest at her four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in the Hollywood Hills until next month.

Rocky Delgadillo, City Attorney, found out through media coverage of Hilton's newly-reinstated freedom, and is now looking into whether or not to hold Sheriff Lee Baca in contempt of court for the heiress's early release. And the Superior Court Judge who sentenced her, Michael T. Sauer, had also specifically ordered that Hilton not be allowed to do exactly what she's now doing, sitting in her comfy home sporting an electronic ankle bracelet.
