Parnassus Offers A Glimpse at Heath Ledger's Final Role

The debut of "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" trailer, Heath Ledger's final performance.

The long anticipated trailer was released Tuesday for "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" directed by Terry Gilliam.

The trailer provided the audience with a sneak peak at Heath Ledger's final performance, which was incomplete due to the actor's death in January 2008 at the age of 28.

Most of the picture was filmed with Ledger. Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell had to step in as Ledger's character to finish the movie. The actors are all seen throughout the trailer. They have also said they would give their earnings made from this movie to Ledger's daughter, Matilda.

The film is about a traveling theater company that gives their audience the opportunity between light and joy or darkness and gloom. It also stars Christopher Plummer as the Doctor Parnassus, Tom Waits as Satan.

The film is planned to be out in October 2009.
